Reaction Steps
Method 1 of Example 1 was followed using 1 equivalent each of 4-chloro-3-nitropyridine, (S)-3-hydroxypiperidine and triethylamine in DMF yielding (S)-1-(3-nitropyridin-4-yl)piperidin-3-ol, LCMS (m/z): 224.1 (MH+); LC Rt=1.06 min.
