N-(5-fluoro-2-((3-nitrobenzyl)thio)phenyl)benzofuran-2-sulfonamide (91 mg, 0.199 mmol) was dissolved in MeOH (2 ml). Zn (322 mg, 4.967 mmol) and NH4Cl (1 ml) was added to the solution. After the mixture was stirred for 30 min at room temperature, the solid was filtered and the filtrate was concentrated in vacuo and then the crude residue was purified by column chromatography (0˜30% EtOAc in hexane) to afford the title product (50 mg, 59%).
