HCl/EtOH (8.49 mL of 2.53 M solution) was added to tert-butyl 1-(3-methyl-1,2,4-oxadiazol-5-yl)-3-azabicyclo[3.1.0]hexane-3-carboxylate (104) (1.9 g, 7.16 mmol) in 5 mL of ethanol. The solution was refluxed for 5 minutes, cooled and condensed to a white solid. The crude solid was crystallized from ethanol and diethyl ether, obtained 1.18 g of white solid hydrochloride salt MS (ESI) m/z 165.8[M+H]+. 1H NMR (CDCl3) δ: 1.18 (m, 2H), 1.50 (s, 3H), 3.42 (m, 3H), 3.74 (m, 2H), 9.64 (s, 2H).
