Slurried tert-butyl 2-(((2R,3S)-3-(((benzyloxy)carbonyl)amino)-4-oxoazetidin-2-yl)methyl)-4,6-dihydropyrrolo[3,4-d][1,2,3]triazole-5(2H)-carboxylate (11.8 mg, 0.027 mmol) and Pd—C (5%, 2.3 mg) in MeOH/EtOH (740 μl, 1.7:1) under N2, whereupon the system was evacuated and backfilled with H2 (3×). After vigorous stirring for 1.7 h, the system was purged with N2 and the solids were filtered through a 0.45μ syringe filter. The filtrate was concentrated in vacuo and used as such without further purification.
