Reaction Steps

To a solution of 21E (99 mg, 0.237 mmol) in DMF (3 mL), was added tert-butyldimethylsilyl chloride (178 mg, 1.183 mmol) and imidazole (81 mg, 1.183 mmol). The reaction mixture was stirred at rt for 60 h., then was quenched with water, extracted with EtOAc (2×). The organic layer was washed with brine, dried (Na2SO4) and concentrated. The crude product was purified by flash chromatography to give 21F (92 mg, 0.173 mmol, 73.0% yield). MS (ESI) m/z: 533.4 (M+H)+.
