The title compound was prepared from 2-[2-(4-fluoro-phenyl)-ethylsulfanyl]-3-(4-hydroxymethyl-phenyl)-propionic acid 2,2,2-trichloroethyl ester (512 mg, 1.1 mmol) and 2-(5-methyl-2-phenyl-oxazol-4-yl)-acetic acid (261 mg, 1.2 mmol) in the same manner as described for 4-[2-[2-(4-fluoro-phenyl)-ethylsulfanyl]-2-(2,2,2-trichloro-ethoxy-carbonyl)-ethyl]-benzoic acid 2-phenyl-5-trifluoromethyl-oxazol-4-ylmethyl ester. The product was obtained without further purification as an oil (751 mg, 94.1%). 1H NMR (500 MHz, CDCl3): δ 8.06 (d, 2H), 7.44 (m, 3H), 7.29 (m, 2H), 7.20 (d, 2H), 7.10-7.13 (m, 2H), 6.98 (t, 2H), 5.16 (s, 2H), 4.73 (q, 2H), 3.58 (dd, 1H), 3.22 (dd, 1H), 2.84-3.00 (m, 5H). Mass Spectrum: M+H+666.00.
