A stirred mixture of N-(3,5-difluoro-4-(3-(6-(methylthio)pyrimidin-4-yl)pyrazin-2-ylamino)pyridin-2-yl)propane-1-sulfonamide (70 mg, 0.15 mmol), ethylamine (70% solution in water, 3 mL) and 2-propanol (3 mL) was heated with stirring at 120° C. for 16 h. The reaction mixture was cooled to rt and concentrated. The residue was chromatographed on silica gel (10-50% ethyl acetate in hexanes eluant) to provide the title compound.
