(S)-tert-Butyl 2-(2-((benzyloxy)carbonyl)hydrazinecarbonyl)pyrrolidine-1-carboxylate (1.089 g, 3.00 mmol) described in Reference Example 5 was dissolved in methanol (15 mL), 10% palladium-carbon (50% water content, 200 mg) was added, followed by stirring at room temperature for 1 hour under hydrogen atmosphere. The catalyst of the reaction mixture was filtered through Celite and the solvent was concentrated under reduced pressure to afford 595.5 mg of the title compound (yield 86.6%).
