Reaction Steps
Prepared as in Example 166d from 2,6-dinitrobenzonitrile and tetrahydro-2H-pyran-4-ol in 100% yield as a tan solid. 1H NMR (400 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ 1.69 (m, 2H), 2.03 (m, 2H), 3.56 (m, 2H), 3.87 (m, 2H), 4.98 (sept, J=3.8 Hz, 1H), 7.90 (m, 3H).
