A mixture of N-[trans-4-(fluoromethyl)cyclohexyl]-6-nitrothieno[3,2-b]pyridin-7-amine (0.20 g, 0.65 mmol) and 10% palladium on carbon (0.07 g) in methanol (7 mL) was hydrogenated under balloon pressure of H2 at room temperature for 1 h. The mixture was filtered. The filtrate was concentrated, diluted with dichloromethane, and then dried over MgSO4 and concentrated to give the desired product (0.11 g, 61%). LCMS calculated for C14H19FN3S (M+H)+: m/z=280.1. Found: 280.1.
