Procedure

To a solution of 6-bromo-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-[1,8]naphthyridine (350 mg, 1.6 mmol) in 14 mL of toluene/DMF 1:1 mixed solvents are added 2-tributylstannanyl-pyrazine (670 mg 1.8 mmol) and Cs2CO3 (1.6 g, 4.9 mmol). Then Pd(dppf)Cl2 (120 mg, 0.16 mmol) is added under N2 atmosphere. The mixture is heated at 110° C. for 16 hrs and the solvent is removed under vacuum. The residue is purified by flash column chromatography to give 190 mg of 6-pyrazin-2-yl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-[1,8]naphthyridine
