A solution of 6-benzyl-N-(2,2-difluoroethyl)-3-(4-(2,4-difluorophenoxyl)piperidin-1-yl)-5-methyl-5,6,7,8-tetrahydropyrido[3,4-b]pyrazin-2-amine TFA salt (160 mg, 0.249 mmol) and Pd(OH)2 on carbon (17.5 mg, 0.025 mmol) in THF (1.24 mL) was purged and placed under hydrogen atmosphere (balloon) overnight. The mixture was filtered through Celite™ and concentrated to give title compound as its TFA salt (136 mg).
