Reaction Steps
The title compound was prepared according to the procedure of Example 8 using N′-hydroxynicotinimidamide (Aldrich) and 5-methylpyrazine-2-carboxylic acid (Aldrich). 1H NMR (300 MHz, CD3OD) δ 2.71 (s, 3H), 7.66 (ddd, J=8.0, 5.1, 0.8 Hz, 1H), 8.59 (dt, J=7.9, 1.8 Hz, 1H), 8.74-8.78 (m, 2H), 9.33 (dd, J=2.0, 0.8 Hz, 1H), 9.40 (d, J=1.2 Hz, 1H) ppm; MS (DCl/NH3) m/z 240 (M+H)+.
