Reaction Steps

To a solution of ethyl(3-ethyl-1-(2-((1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)amino)pyrimidin-4-yl)-2-oxopyrrolidin-3-yl)acetate (270 mg) obtained in Step E in ethanol (5 mL) was added dropwise 2M aqueous sodium hydroxide solution (1.4 mL), and the mixture was stirred overnight at room temperature. To the reaction mixture was added water, and the mixture was washed with diethyl ether. The aqueous layer was neutralized with 2M hydrochloric acid, and extracted with ethyl acetate. The obtained organic layer was washed with saturated brine, and dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate, and the solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure. The residue was recrystallized (ethyl acetate) to give the title compound (100 mg).
