The title compound is prepared in 12% yield (40 mg, colorless oil) from methyl 3-(1-bromoethyl)-2-chloroisonicotinate (262 mg, 0.94 mmol, Step-1 of Intermediate-6, racemate) and 1-(5-methyl-6-(2,2,2-trifluoroethoxy)pyridin-3-yl)ethanamine hydrochloride (200 mg, 0.85 mmol, Amine-2, single enantiomer) in a similar manner to Intermediate-2.
