The title compound is prepared in >99% yield (310 mg, pale brown solid) from 4-chloro-2-(1-(5-methyl-6-(2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropoxy)pyridin-3-yl)ethyl)-2,3-dihydro-1H-pyrrolo[3,4-c]pyridin-1-one (250 mg, 0.60 mmol, Intermediate-18, single enantiomer) and phenyl formate (150 mg, 1.2 mmol) in a similar manner to Intermediate-91.
