The title compound is prepared in 71% yield (562 mg, white solid) from ethyl 3-(bromomethyl)-2-chloroisonicotinate (550 mg, 2.15 mmol, Step-1 of Intermediate-1) and 1-(3-methyl-4-(trifluoromethoxy)phenyl)ethanamine hydrochloride (550 mg, 2.15 mmol, Amine-80, single enantiomer) in a similar manner to Intermediate-2.
