78 mg (R)-4-[7-(3,4-Dimethoxy-phenyl)-[1,6]-naphthyridine-5-yloxymethyl]-3-methyl-1-((R)-1-phenyl-ethyl)-imidazolidine-2-one (I.28) was placed in 1 mL of trifluoroacetic acid at ambient temperature. The reaction mixture was heated to 160° C. under microwave irradiation where it was maintained for 10 min. After this time the mixture was cooled to ambient temperature and concentrated under reduced pressure. Purification by silica gel chromatography (methanol/dichloromethane: 1-4%) gave the title compound.
