Reaction of 2-(2-(acetamido)ethyl)quinazoline-4-carboxylic acid with 5,6-dimethoxy-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline hydrochloride gave compound 76 (17% yield) as a white solid. 1H NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ 1.74-1.75 (m, 3H), 2.69 and 2.95 (2t, 2H), 3.14-3.19 (m, 2H), 3.45 and 3.99 (2t, 2H), 3.57-3.61 (m, 2H), 3.74-3.80 (3s, 6H), 4.36 and 4.89 (2s, 2H), 6.64 and 6.99 (2d, 1H), 6.82 and 7.05 (2d, 1H), 7.67-7.75 (m, 1H), 7.85-7.94 (m, 2H), 8.02-8.06 (m, 2H); MS (ESI) m/z 435 ([M+H]+).
