Reaction of 2-(3,4,5-trimethoxyphenyl)quinazoline-4-carboxylic acid with 5-methoxy-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline hydrochloride gave compound 90 (36.3% yield). 1H NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ 2.79 and 2.90 (2t, 2H), 3.56 and 4.08 (2t, 2H), 3.76-3.81 (m, 6H), 3.86 and 3.92 (2s, 6H), 4.50 and 4.99 (2s, 2H), 6.49-7.28 (m, 3H), 7.67-8.18 (m, 6H); MS (ESI) m/z 486 ([M+H]+).
