When the product of Step A was substituted for 5-(3-chloro-4-propoxyphenyl)-3-(3-iodo-4-isopropoxyphenyl)-1,2,4-oxadiazole in Example 36, Step C, the similar procedure afforded the title compound in 84% yield, as a creamy solid. 1H-NMR (CDCl3) 8.48 (d, 1H, J=2.05 Hz); 8.04 (dd, 1H, J=8.46, 1.98 Hz); 7.76 (dd, 1H, J=8.43, 2.0 Hz); 7.65 (d, 1H, J=1.98 Hz); 7.07 (d, 1H, J=8.5 Hz); 6.96 (d, 1H, J=8.46 Hz); 5.63 (bs, 1H); 4.24-4.09 (m, 4H); 1.56-1.42 (m, 6H).
