The title compound was prepared from 7,8-dimethoxy-4,5-dihydronaphtho[1,2-d][1,3]thiazol-2-amine (100 mg, synthesized according to METHOD I from 6,7-dimethoxytetralone) and 2,4,6-trichlorobenzenesulfonyl chloride (213 mg) as described in the synthetic METHOD A to give a yellow powder (6.5 mg) with a purity of 86%: MS-ES (neg) m/z 505.1
