Reaction Steps
According to the method of Example 26, from aldehyde 6 (660 mg, 2.47 mmol) and 1-bromotetradecane (1.71 g, 6.17 mmol), alcohol 53 was obtained as a colorless oil (535 mg, 47% yield).
