Reaction Steps
The compound of Example 11B is dissolved in THF; an aqueous solution of LiOH is added, and the resultant mixture is stirred at ambient temperature for 3 hours. The reaction is quenched by addition of aqueous phosphoric acid (1N), and extracted with ethyl acetate. The crude material is carried forward without further purification.
