Procedure
1 mmol of the compound obtained in Example 49 is introduced into a suspension of 10 mmol of lithium aluminium hydride in 30 ml of diethyl ether and 10 ml of dioxane and the mixture is stirred overnight. Hydrolysis is carried out with a 2N sodium hydroxide solution and the precipitate is washed with dichloromethane. The organic phases are combined and concentrated. The title compound is recrystallized in the hydrogenmaleate form from ethanol/diethyl ether.
