Procedure
To a solution of the product of step iii) (3.97 g) in DMSO (30 ml) was added sodium hydrosulphide hydrate (0.84 g). Stirring was continued for a further 2 h and additional aliquots of 0.42 g of sodium hydrosulphide were added until complete disappearance of starting material as assessed by reverse phase HPLC-MS. The subtitle compound was also kept as a stock solution for further reaction with alkyl halides described in examples 43-53 and 137.
