To a solution of 4-{4-[(2-amino-6-phenylpyrimidin-4-yl)amino]phenoxy}pyridine-2-carboxylic acid (Example 20, 0.15 g, 0.38 mmol) in dry DMA (3 mL) was added HATU (0.14 g, 0.38 mmol) and DIEA (0.15 g, 1.13 mmol). The solution was stirred at rt for 0.5 h, followed by addition of morpholine (0.16 g, 1.88 mmol). The resulting solution was stirred at rt overnight, followed by prep-HPLC separation to give 77 mg (35%) pure product. 1H NMR (DMSO-d6) δ 10.79 (s, 1H), 8.40 (s, 1H), 7.85 (m, 2H), 7.74 (m, 2H), 7.60 (m, 3H), 7.21 (m, 2H), 7.00 (m, 2H), 6.59 (s, 1H), 3.49 (m, 8H); MS ES 469 (M+H)+, calcd 469.
