Procedure
A solution of 24d (1.0 g; 3.3 mmol) and methyl iodide (5.6 g; 39 mmol) in methanol (50 ml) was stirred under reflux for 3 h. The reaction mixture was cooled and filtered. The filtrate was concentrated and the residue was taken up in ethanol. Insoluble components were filtered off and the filtrate was concentrated. The residue was taken up in CH2Cl2/EtOH (9+1). Insoluble components were filtered off, and the filtrate was separated by column chromatography (SiO2 60, CH2Cl2/EtOH 9+1). M.p. 158° C.
