6-Trifluoromethyl-4-(4-trifluoromethyl-cyclohex-1-enyl)-2-[4-(3-trifluoromethyl-pyridin-2-yl)-piperazin-1-yl]-1H-benzoimidazole (10 mg, Example 139b) was subjected to catalytic hydrogenation in ethanol (1 mL) using 10% Pd/C (10 mg, Aldrich) as catalyst. The reaction was conducted at room temperature under 1 atmosphere hydrogen for 2 days. The catalyst was filtered through a Celite® pad, the filter cake was washed with methanol and the filtrate was evaporated in vacuo to give the title compound as a film. MS (ESI, pos. ion) m/z: 565(M+1).
