4-Bromo-6-trifluoromethyl-2-[4-(3-trifluoromethyl-pyridin-2-yl)-piperazin-1-yl]-1H-benzoimidazole (2 g, 4 mmol, Example 7) in CH2Cl2 (20 mL) reacted with 2-(trimethylsilyl)ethoxymethyl chloride (660 mg, 4 mmol, Aldrich) under the conditions of Example 127a to give the title compound as a light-brown oil. MS (ESI, pos. ion) m/z: 564.4 (M+1).
