N-{2-[4-(3-(3-(N-benzylamino)methylphenyl)-4-methoxyphenyl)aminophenyl]ethyl}-(R)-2-tert-butyldimethylsilyloxy-2-(8-hydroxy-2(1H)-quinolinon-5-yl)ethylamine (55 mg, 0.73 mmol) was dissolved in THF/MeOH (5 mL:2 mL). Triethylamine-trihydrofluoride (0.5 mL) was added, and the reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 5 h. The solvent was then evaporated, and the residue purified by HPLC to afford N-{2-[4-(3-(3-(N-benzylamino)methylphenyl)-4-methoxyphenyl)aminophenyl]ethyl}-(R)-2-hydroxy-2-(8-hydroxy-2(1H)-quinolinon-5-yl)ethylamine (114). m/z: [M+H+] calcd for C40H41N4O4 641.31. found 641.3
