Dess-Martin periodinane (21 g, 50 mmol) was added to a solution of 74.1 (14 g crude, ˜50 mmol) in DCM (200 mL). After 1 hour, the reaction mixture was concentrated with silica gel and chromatographed (silica gel, 1:2 EtOAc/hexane) to provide compound 74.2 (3.3 g, 11.5 mmol). MS ESI (pos.) m/e: 287.1 (M+H).
