A solution of BA62 (3-(4-fluoro-3-methoxyphenyl)-1-isopropyl-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidin-4-amine, 30 mg, 0.10 mmol) was dissolved in CH2Cl2 (5 ml) and stirred under an argon atmosphere. BBr3 (500 uL, 0.5 mol) was added slowly with a syringe, while stirring. The reaction was stirred at room temperature for 3 hours then concentrated in vacuo and purified using silica gel column chromatography [MeOH—CH2Cl2, 2:98] to yield BA62d (23 mg, 44% yield). ESI-MS (M+H)+ m/z calcd 288.1, found 288.1.
