A mixture of tert-butyl 6-(5-amino-7-(2-furyl)-3H-[1,2,3]triazolo[4,5-d]pyrimidine-3-ylmethyl)indole-1-carboxylate (135 mg, 4.08 mmol), and NaOMe (22 mg, 4.08 mmol) in MeOH (10 mL) was refluxed for 1 h, treated with NaOMe (110 mg, 20.4 mmol), refluxed for a further 4 h then stirred at room temperature for 17 h. The mixture was concentrated in vacuo to half volume and the resulting precipitate was filtered and washed with H2O to give the title compound (90 mg, 96%) as a cream solid.
