Using an adaptation of the method described in Procedure 23, substituting N-(2-{5-methoxy-9-[8-(2,2,2-trifluoroacetyl)-8-aza-bicyclo[3.2.1]oct-3-yl]-9H-xanthen-3-yl}-phenyl)-acetamide, 1l for 2,2,2-trifluoro-1-{3-[3-(1H-tetrazol-5-yl)-9H-xanthen-9-yl]-8-aza-bicyclo[3.2.1]oct-8-yl}-ethanone, 4j, the title compound N-{2-[9-(8-aza-bicyclo[3.2.1]oct-3-yl)-5-methoxy-9H-xanthen-3-yl]-phenyl}-acetamide, 2l was obtained as a TFA salt. MS m/z (MH+) 455.1.
