The titled compound was prepared following the procedure B using 6-[({6-[(4-butylphenyl)ethynyl]-3-pyridinyl}methyl)amino]-2,2-dimethyl-4H-1,3-benzodioxin-4-one and 3-cyclopentylpropionyl chloride as a yellow oil (73%). 1H NMR (CDCl3, 300 MHz) δ 8.28 (s, 1H), 7.77 (m, 2H), 7.48 (m, 3H), 7.16 (d, J=8.3 Hz. 2H), 7.05 (m, 1H), 6.93 (d, J=8.7 Hz, 1H), 4.87 (s, 2H), 2.61 (t, J=7.5 Hz, 2H), 2.05 (m, 2H), 1.74 (s, 6H), 1.68-1.29 (m, 13H), 0.92 (m, 5H). M+ (ESI): 565.3. HPLC, Rt: 5.43 min (Purity: 97.6%).
