The title compound was prepared following the procedure A using 4-[(4-methoxyphenyl)-ethynyl]benzaldehyde (intermediate which may be obtained according to methods disclosed in EP03103780.7) and 7-amino-2,2-dimethyl-4H-1,3-benzodioxin-4-one as a brown powder (%). 1H NMR (CDCl3) δ 7.70 (d, J=8.7 Hz, 1H), 7.48 (d, J=8.3 Hz, 2H), 7.44 (d, J=8.9 Hz, 2H), 7.28 (d, J=8.1 Hz, 2H), 6.86 (d, J=8.9 Hz, 2H), 6.30 (m, 1H), 6.01 (s, 1H), 4.37 (s, 2H), 3.81 (s, 3H), 1.67 (s, 6H). M+ (ESI): 414.1, M− (ESI): 412.1. HPLC, Rt: 4.90 min (purity: 92.8%).
