To a mixture of the compound of Example 58 (500 mg, 2.5 mmol) and caesium carbonate (1.79 g, 5.5 mmol) in anhydrous acetone (10 ml) was added chloromethyl pivalate (0.43 ml, 3.0 mmol). The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 18 h. To the mixture was added dichloromethane (10 ml) and water (10 ml) and the two layers were separated. The aqueous phase was extracted with dichloromethane (2×10 ml) and the combined organic phases were dried (MgSO4) and concentrated in vacuo.
