Using a procedure analogous to that used to prepare 6D, 36D (500 mg, 1.3 mmol) was reacted with 5,5′,5′-tetramethyl-[2,2′]bi[[1,3,2]dioxaborinanyl] to give 36E (183 mg, 40%) as a tan foam. MS (ESI) m/z 352.6 (M+H)+.
