Using a procedure analogous to that used to prepare 6D, 43A (650 mg, 1.1 mmol) was reacted with 5,5′,5′-tetramethyl-[2,2′]bi[[1,3,2]dioxaborinanyl] to give 43B (362 mg, 59%) as a brown oil. MS (ESI) m/z 563.2 (M+H)+.
