The title compound was prepared from 5-Bromo-4-chloro-7-isopropyl-7H-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidine (15.8 g, 50.7 mmol) and 2-Chloro-6-methyl-isonicotinoyl chloride (9.6 g, 50.7 mmol) by procedures analogous to those described for the preparation (4-Amino-7-isopropyl-7H-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidin-5-yl)-(6-amino-pyridin-2-yl)-methanone. MS: 311.2 (MH+); HPLC Rf: 3.23 min. (HPLC method 4); HPLC purity: 100%.
