Reaction Steps
The product from Example 3 (300 mg, 0.87 mmol) and triethylamine (0.6 mL, 4.3 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (10 mL) were treated with methanesulfonyl chloride (0.2 mL, 2.58 mmol) at room temperature and stirred overnight. The reaction mixture was diluted with CH2Cl2 (20 mL), washed with H2O (3×5 mL) and brine (5 mL), dried over Na2SO4, filtered, and the filtrate concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by column chromatography on silica gel (99:1 CH2Cl2:CH3OH) to provide the title compound as a solid. 1H NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ 10.30 (s, 1H), 8.81 (dd, J=4.6 Hz, 1.6 Hz, 1H), 8.25 (dd, J=8.1 Hz, 1.4 Hz, 1H), 8.11-8.14 (m, 2H), 7.61-7.77 (m, 5H), 7.37-7.41 (m, 2H), 3.19 (s, 6H), 1.29 (s, 9H); MS (ESI+) m/z 502 (M+H)+.
