Reaction Steps
4-Hydroxyimino-1-methyl-2,2-dioxo-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-2λ6-benzo[c][1,2]thiazine-7-carboxylic acid methyl ester (1.50 g, 5.28 mmol) was hydrogenated over Pd(OH)2 (1.30 g, 20% on carbon, wet) in MeOH (100 mL) for 60 h. After filtration and evaporation, chromatography (silica, 0-3% MeOH in CH2CL2) furnished the title compound. MS (+APCI, m/z): 271 (M+H)+, 254 (M−NH2)+, MS (-APCI, m/z): 252 (M−N4)−.
