A solution of the 2,5-dichloro-4-[(4-chlorophenylthio)-(2,5-difluorophenyl)methyl]pyridine (100 mg, 0.24 mmol) obtained in Example 342 and morpholine (200 μl) in 1,4-dioxane (1.0 ml) was stirred under nitrogen atmosphere at 100° C. for 2 days. The reaction mixture was cooled to room temperature. After dilution with ethyl acetate (40 ml), the solution was washed with water and brine, dried and concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue thus obtained was purified by silica gel chromatography (hexane:ethyl acetate=5:1) to yield the title compound (100 mg, 89%) as an oil.
