A solution of 8-(benzyloxy)-5-((1R)-2-{benzyl[6-(4-phenylbutoxy)hexyl]amino}-1-hydroxyethyl)quinolin-2(1H)-one (33 mg) in ethanol (15 ml) and acetic acid (0.4 ml) was stirred under hydrogen in the presence of palladium on charcoal (10 mg) for 4 h. The reaction mixture was filtered and concentrated in vacuo. The residue was purified by chromatography (SPE, gradient from DCM to DCM-MeOH—NH3(aq) 100:10:1) to give the title compound (19.5 mg).
