To the product from step 1 (51 mg, 0.129 mmol) was added 4M HCl in dioxane (6 mL) and the resulting mixture was stirred at rt for 3 h. The solvent was removed in vacuo to obtain the title product as a yellow solid (43 mg, 99%): MS; m/z 296 (M+H): LCMS (UV) 99%. 1H NMR (400 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ 1.72-1.77 (m, 1H), 1.87-2.01 (m, 2H), 2.11-2.15 (m, 1H), 3.21-3.23 (m, 2H), 3.91-3.93 (m, 1H), 4.22-4.27 (dd, 1H J1=8, J2=10.8 Hz), 4.33-4.37 (dd, 1H J1=4 Hz, J2=10.8 Hz), 4.33 (s, 2H), 7.09 (d, 2H, J=9.2 Hz), 7.20-7.33 (m, 4H); 8.05 (d, 2H, J=9.2 Hz), 9.1 (s, 1H), 9.6 (s, 1H).
