Product from step 1 (1.2 g, 3.13 mmol) in EtOH/THF (10 mL/25 mL) was treated with 10% Pd on carbon (1.0 g) over period of 16 h at rt under H2 balloon. Reaction Mixture was filtered through Celite and concentrated under reduced pressure. The crude mixture was purified by silica gel flash chromatography (20% EtOAc/Hexane) to obtain the title product (645 mg, 70%).
