As described for example 8b, 6-(5-methyl-3-phenyl-isoxazol-4-ylmethoxy)-nicotinic acid (100 mg, 0.32 mmol) was converted, using 3-amino-N-ethylpiperidine (1 M in DMF) instead of methylamine, to the title compound (64 mg, 95%) which was obtained as an off white foam. MS: m/e=421.3 [M+H]+.
