2-(4-Chloro-phenylsulfonyl)-3-(3,5-dichlorophenylamino)-3-methylsulfanyl-2-propenenitrile (0.50 g, 1.2 mmol) was stirred in 2-aminobutane (1 ml) for 17 h at 100° C. under nitrogen in a sealed flask. Work-up as described in EXAMPLE 17, 2) without chromatography gave 0.38 g (69%) of the title compound; Mp 150-152° C. 1H NMR (200 MHz, CDCl3): δ=0.85 (t, 3H), 1.06 (d, 3H), 1.48 (p, 2H), 3.25 (m, 1H), 6.90 (d, 2H), 7.20 (t, 1H), 7.47 (d, 2H), 7.78 (d, 2H); EI SP/MS: 457 (M+), 459 (M+2), 461 (M+4).
