4-(1,3-dimethyl-2,4-dioxo-5-pyrimidinyl)]-N-[[1-(2-methoxyethyl)cyclopentyl]carbonyl]-L-phenylalanine was prepared from 4-(1,3-dimethyl-2,4-dioxo-5-pyrimidinyl)]-L-phenylalanine methyl ester and 1-(2-methoxyethyl)cyclopentane carboxylic acid (see WO 9910312) using the general procedures described in example 2. EI-HRMS m/e calcd for C24H31N3O5 (M+H) 458.2292, found 458.2279.
